STOCKINGS

I consider stockings for the garter belt, but also hold ups, which they hold in a smooth or lace hem thanks to the silicone band, to be a very important part of the wardrobe (I don't mean just to the bed and for erotic games). I think every woman should have in the chest of drawers at least one. I love beautiful lingerie, which you already know, and in my opinion the right icing on the cake is when you have a matching garter belt with stockings, or preferably with a whole set of lingerie. There are so many different stockings on the market, whether those in a garter belt or hold ups. In today's article, I will share with you my tips on stockings that suit me, which I like to buy again and again, and I will be happy if you let me know if you have a favorite from another manufacturer that I haven't tried yet.

My favorite set - a black lace garter belt from the Wolford brand, which includes nude stockings that have a lace hem in the same design and color as used on the garter - you know. I had it for a long time on the front page of the blog. Even though it's definitely not the most expensive or THE most interesting piece I have in the dresser, for some reason it's the closest to my heart. Wolford mainly offers hosiery stuff. Every year IT also makes a narrower collection of lingerie, which is usually not very interesting for me, so I don't own any other from this brand. Most models are in my favorite combination, which is the nude stocking and a wider lace hem in black, red or white (color experiments you CAN'T FIND with this Austrian brand). If you do not want to shop online from the official website or from About You (where the offer is not the widest), I recommend going to OC Chodov, where they have a shop, or combine a visit with a trip to Karlovy Vary, where they have a little shop directly on the colonnade.

Unfortunately, many brands do not have similarly matched matchymatchy sets in the assortment. Lise Charmel always have one to two collections with this stuff every year. But whether it is a matched stay up with a high garter belt or, conversely, with a lower one, for me it is perfection and a breathtaking feast for the eyes. Most models from the French brand Lise Charmel (which I once wrote about on the blog) have beautiful embroidery and stunning fine details on each piece of lingerie, and the same pattern is then used on the hem of the stockings, if they offer it for the collection. Lise Charmel is of course not one of the cheapest brands - for lingerie in line with the quality offered, it is ok for me, though. But for stockings I no longer perceive it the same. You can not buy them much at discounted proces or outlets, and if you destroy them thé firstntime you use them, oops!

If you decide to invest in some beautiful Stockings or Hold ups whether from Lisa Charmel, Agent Provocateur or other more expensive brands, then I recommend buying two sets. If you are gifted with some similar gems, go and buy a set of stockings immediately as long as they have them in the stock. You may find it unnecessary, but I lost a beautifully matching set from red lace like this.  I tore my stockings about half a year after I bought it and unfortunately it wasn't a small hole. So they are unusable to wear and I have not been able to buy another pair anywhere. It's been more than two years, but I'm still missing them a lot.

My other big favorites that I love to wear is Agent Provocateur lingerie (the whole article dedicated to the famous British lingerie brand can be found on the blog here). Probably I don't have to introduce this brand, as well as their iconic stockings - especially the "retro" variant with a characteristic seam and heel. For me, AP is no longer what it used to be (every collection will honestly get worse and worse for me), although I must say that the lingerie I received this Valentine's Day surprised me very nicely. I mainly miss nude stockings with variously colored iconic seams, which matched the given lingerie collections  in the current offer…

Stay up, whether from AP or Lisa Charmel, are in a similar price level, which is about 40 to 50 €, they are mostly stockings on a garter belt (they do not have a silicone hem and do not hold on their own, sometimes they tend to if you get bigger, slide on your leg). I don't know if I'm so clumsy or passionate, but I damage my stockings quite often, so I prefer to buy stockings from cheaper brands, where I'm not sorry for any possible accident.

I wrote about the Ann Summers brand recently on the blog, part of her stockings is identical to the models they offer at Agent, with the difference that they lack the colored toe of the stocking and the material is a bit thinner, but they sell for around € 14. Ann Summers very often offers the 'buy 1 get 1 half Price stockings', this option is valid whenever you are in a brick and mortar shop. I prefer lace hems and I really like it if the color of the stocking is different from the color of the lace in the hem, I find it more interesting and sexy. I bought very nice stockings in Palmers (currently they offer beautiful body stockings with dark blue lace), very high quality pieces are offered by the brand Oroblú (sold by Le Chaton).

Amazing pieces, for which, thanks to the favorable price, you will not regret if they don´t survive the first hot night or if they tear on the edge of the bed, they also offer them on the sex shops website. My current favorites are these red ones again very similar to AP and classic dark hold ups with a very nice color scheme. On the pages of sex shops, of course, you will find, in addition to classic models, also various peppery variants, which are not suitable for daily wear, but can be used for private games, erotic costumes, etc ...

Even if the S/M size would be enough for me, I always buy a larger size for stay ups with a silicone hem. I hate it when cuts into my leg like strinfs into a ham. Whoever exercises, whether you are strengthening or running, you know that after the exercise the muscles are swollen (the next day it gets back to normal), if you exercise every other day, you always have slightly swollen legs, so it is better to take into account when choosing the size of stockings.

I liked the holds up from Marks and Spencer, I was surprised by it myself, but they sell a variant there that you have a nude hosiery and a lace hem in cream color, it's not pure white (cold shade). But because it's not such a bright white, it looks much better on the body and for any underwear in the shade of champagne it's an absolute gem. I showed them yesterday at IG. In addition to the classic all-blacks, they also offer dark blue holds up, so if someone is looking for a cheaper option of stockings for lingerie in this color, be sure to go see it.

I choose stockings according to their appearance and color to match my other lingerie, and the secondary factor for me is whether they are hold ups or to be attached to a garter belt. Yes, even though it's probably not an ideal solution, I can easily attach a self-holding stocking to the garter, although the fastening is a little more difficult, but when it meets my requirements for appearance, I'm satisfied.
